How GHSC-PSM Supports Mothers and Children: Key Health Commodities

Authored on
Description

The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project has developed this resource to explain the commodities supported by our maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) workstream. The graphic explains what health issues affect these groups and why it is important to make the most appropriate health commodities available to treat and manage conditions like postpartum hemorrhage, birth asphyxia, and pneumonia. It also explains why some commodities may be more appropriate in low-resource settings.
