Technical Report: Presenting a Framework to Professionalize Health Supply Chain Management

This article presents a professionalization framework to address the shortage of skilled health supply chain management (SCM) workers. Developed through interviews with experts, the framework includes a competency library, job descriptions, educational mappings, and an implementation guide. It helps countries standardize and enhance the SCM workforce, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, ensuring workers have the necessary skills and qualifications to manage health commodities effectively.
