Description

The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project, in collaboration with the Ghanaian Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service, conducted this assessment of the newborn health ecosystem in Northern and Upper West regions of Ghana in 2023. The goal of this study was to increase stakeholder understanding of the newborn health landscape and identify opportunities to enhance newborn health programming. This assessment also documents gaps across a patient’s oxygen journey, with a particular focus on small and sick newborns (SSNBs).
