Description

Ghana is setting a remarkable example of how technology and collaboration can transform healthcare logistics. By integrating the Global Family Planning Visibility and Analytics Network (VAN) with its Ghana Integrated Logistics Management Information System (GhiLMIS), the country is transforming its contraceptive supply chain management. Since adopting the VAN in 2019, Ghana has consistently leveraged its features to enhance data visibility and reliability. But the real breakthrough came in 2021 with full integration, enabling seamless data sharing between GhiLMIS and the VAN. This bold move streamlined quantification and supply planning, reduced manual data errors, and empowered stakeholders with real-time, data-driven insights.
