Authored on
Description

Following a 2018 study revealing high levels of substandard oxytocin present in Mozambique's health supply chain, the GHSC-PSM project set out to assess the risks to oxytocin quality, barriers to availing oxytocin of reliable quality, and potential solutions for improving access to safe, effective uterotonics for Mozambique's mothers. This report details the methods and findings from this assessment, including temperature data and analysis, policy and practice findings and recommendations, and detailed consideration of uterotonics that could be offered to suit Mozambique's unique context.
