GHSC-PSM has adopted and implemented the GS1 Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), a standards-based network for master data exchange, to receive item attribute information as the basis of our product catalog. The GDSN process and tools enable improved supply chain data quality and streamlined data management for all trading partners. The GDSN allows the program to provide USAID-supported countries with the information they need to optimize decision making for GHSC-PSM order planning, procurement, shipping, and receiving. The Data Synchronization Implementation Guide provides the process and methods to be used by GHSC-PSM and its suppliers in achieving the goal of data synchronization.
Data Synchronization Implementation Guide
The attribute guide is intended to be used together with the guidance document. It provides suppliers with an overview of mandatory, required, and suggested data attributes, GDSN tags, definitions and guidance, and supporting code lists to support compliance with GHSC-PSM GDSN data exchange requirements for suppliers.
GHSC-PSM’s GDSN data pool provider is 1WorldSync. More information on GHSC-PSM's partnership with 1WorldSync, including information on how suppliers may engage with 1WorldSync at their GDSN data pool, can be found at GHSC-PSM’s landing page on the 1WorldSync website.
